Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Satvik Sethi is a passionate mental health activist and advocate. An international student from New Delhi, India, currently residing in New York, Satvik embarked on the journey to create Runaway to fulfill his lifelong dream of making the world happier.
Through his work with Runaway, Satvik has had the opportunity to work with organizations like the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and Mental Health America. He has been recognized as 1 of 8 inspiring mental health youth activists by Mashable, and 1 of 15 students changing collegiate mental health by Mental Health America for the impact he's carried through his advocacy.
Satvik has had the opportunity to give talks, host events, and be quoted and published in media outlets like Vice, Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global, Times of India, and Subconscious, for his entrepreneurial and social endeavors that have inspired and motivated people of all ages around the world.

Megan Reilly graduated from Binghamton University in 2019 with a B.S. in Accounting. She currently works as an Advisory Consultant for a Big Four accounting firm. She spends free time engaging in activities such as fitness and baking. Megan has always pursued her deep passion for helping others and supporting those in need, including mentoring/tutoring programs, volunteering initiatives, and supporting Runaway App's marketing team since 2018.

Jacob West currently studies statistics and sociology as an undergraduate of Binghamton University. Interning as the GHI modeling team leader, as well as various other volunteer work, Jake has stayed both academically and with extracurriculars. He enjoys spending his free time writing on his personal blog, being outdoors with friends and family, and listening to music.

Alea Watson is a sophomore at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She is double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a double minor in Health & Society and Africana Studies. She decided to join Runaway because she is a mental health awareness advocate and wanted to find a team of people who valued the same things and wanted to make the world a better place. In her free time, she likes to listen to music and podcasts, read about true crime, and watch Netflix!

Joanna Zhang is a 2019 Binghamton University graduate, holding a BA in Sociology and BS in Biological Anthropology. She is currently currently working as a Medical Scribe to gain experience in the medical field while preparing for Graduate School and traveling as much as possible! In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, lettering, and painting!
Jessica is a current student at Binghamton University, pursuing a double major in Spanish and Philosophy, Politics, and Law with a minor in Environmental Studies. She is passionate about mental health and social justice. In her fee time, she like to play soccer, write poetry, and go to the beach
Matthew is a junior at Cornell studying Neurobiology and Behavior on a pre-med path! He was born in Guyana but moved to Queens as a child, and has lived there ever since. To Matthew, mental health is so important because he's experienced just how profoundly it can affect our relationships with ourselves, as well as with others.
Bringing awareness to suicide has also become really important to him. Coming from a country with one of the highest suicide rates in the world, he is motivated to bring awareness to this topic. He tries to be a resource for his friends, as well as for those he may not know.
Apart from this, he enjoys playing cricket, mentoring others (specifically through BigBrothers BigSisters), and watching sports. He's a Knicks, Giants, and Mets fan!
Emily Erb is a sophomore mechanical engineering major. Along with being a Runaway ambassador, Emily is a Resident Assistant on campus and a sister of Alpha Omega Epsilon. Emily believes that mental health is important and should be taken seriously by college students for many different reasons. She loves being a part of Runaway and helping to spread happiness!
Christy Dey is a graduating senior at Barnard College. She is a double major in Economics and Environmental Science and is interested in Entrepreneurship and environmental policies. She has been an advocate of mental wellbeing throughout college and enjoys the work Runaway does for communities around the world. Christy is a student-athlete and enjoys watching movies and baking on the weekends.
Christy strongly believes that mental health is so important for everyone. As a student-athlete, she has personally struggled with her mental wellbeing and overall wellness, and thinks it is important to support a community that prioritizes this type of health. Mental Health is slowly beginning to be recognized for what it's worth and she wants to be an advocate and supporter for those in need of mental health resources.
